About Us: Brenda Merrill

Brenda Merrill comes to BMWO from her position as staff member at the Maryland Conservatory of Music where she helped manage marketing efforts and grow the student base for Harford County’s first music conservatory. While a long-time member of her local church, Brenda has served as Youth Council Director and Sunday School Superintendent as well as assisting with community outreach efforts and facilitating Women’s Retreats.

Brenda received her education degree from Towson University and taught in several schools in the Baltimore area. Featured in a video presentation used for professional staff in-service training for Classroom Management and Effective Teaching, Brenda collaborated with the Staff Development Mentor Team in developing effective strategies with other teachers.

Brenda’s experience in education and personal growth along with her passion for helping others has uniquely prepared her for her current role at BMWO. Brenda currently lives in Kingsville, MD with her husband and three sons.
